.NET: Extact FileName from Path

You can Extract the Filename by using Path Class from System.IO

In C#

string filename = Path.GetFileName("D:\My Documents\myimg.jpg");

In VB .NET

Dim fileName as String = Path.GetFIleName(”D:\My Documents\myimg.jpg”)
